Of the many Accounting career paths, historically, the most advantageous from a career development standpoint is public accounting. The starting salaries have always been higher than private accounting jobs. In fact, starting salaries are expected to increase almost 8% in firms, according to a recent study by Hotjobs and Robert Half. |
