Job Outlook for 2010
Unemployment continues to rise, and although the recession may be technically over, robust creation of jobs is not on the menu.
There is optimism, though, since some metropolitan areas anticipate significant job growth by the first quarter of next year. A recent study by BusinessWeek.com targeted America's 25 next recovering job markets.
The areas most promising were primarily in the south, although Mt. Vernon, Washington expects a surge due to the tourist trade coming back.
Many of the areas are located where energy production is a major industry. While Green Jobs are starting to take root, there is still some skepticism over how quickly that will become a robust industry.
